About the Book

The small town of Rockwater Mountain had gone thirty-one years and three months without a killing. That is, until Johnny Tom Mitchell, an ex-Viet-Nam sniper, decided to snap one night. Having caught his man and then let him escape, Chief Harry Tucker's easy-going small-town life becomes a tireless, unrelenting search effort to re-capture the killer before he strikes again. When Johnny Tom pulls the trigger on the nephew of the don who runs the Philadelphia mob, Harry suddenly finds himself turned from the hunter to the hunted.

About the Author

Ray Ryder began writing fiction in 2002. He currently is the author of a collection of short stories (Corridors to Christmas) and two novels, (The Rockwater Mountain Murders and The Spirit of Whiskey River). He lives in Sarasota, Florida with his wife, Patti, and also is a member of the Sarasota Florida Fiction Writers Association.
