About the Book
An Italian-American novel that is bold and honest in its treatment of detailing the years of America´s Great Depression. The story, based on some true incidents, is, however, a fictional memoir, a stunning roman à clef, passionate in its themes, yet thought provoking, engrossing, and volcanic.
About the Author
By sheer pluck and will, the author, orphaned when his mother passed away six years after his birth, pursued his education that launched a career in electricity, radio, and the Morse code. Through naval radioman training and further study under the GI Bill that prepared him for the Merchant Marine, he retired after more than four decades at sea as a ship's radio-electronics officer. As a result of his worldwide travels, he gained the knowledge to write and publish two books: They Go To Sea and The Last of All Desire. He lives with his wife in Ocala, Florida, at present, and will soon try his hand at writing non-fiction.
