He began his second career in 1983 with the Trump Organization in New York. Mr. Reidway resides in Palm Beach County, Florida, with his wife, Patti. To the best of his knowledge, everything in this book is true. Carl F. Reidway Jr.’s genealogical journey began in 1993 when he discovered five branches of his family from different parts of Europe. All came to New York City and all stayed, though in different neghborhoods. “I got the feeling,” he writes, “that if their narrative were put to music, it would be like a dance.” Hence “Dance of the City.” To their stories, Mr. Reidway adds his memories of a childhood in Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn, and careers with the New York City Police Department and the Trump Organization. To the best of his genealogical research and knowledge, everything in the book is true.
