About the Book
My Journey Up and Then Back Down the Corporate Ladder . . . An Underachiever’s Guide to Mediocrity is a satirical, humorous, and sometimes cynical exploration into Michael’s many brief stops within the corporate and creative worlds. The book focuses on his observations regarding the individuals, policies, and personalities that make up the average office environment in addition to the job-seeking process itself. The book also explores current religious, racial, and gender sensitivities as they relate to past and current pop culture views and how these factors affect today’s corporate surroundings while also dividing us up as a country on a social level.
