About the Book

This book is called Southern Phried Drama; it takes place in the south and is about an African American middle age female that had the perfect American life. She joined the Navy directly after high school and met the man of her dreams. She married him on their assigned ship a month after they met. All was going great for them until six years later when Ravens obligation was over with the Navy. She told her husband she didn’t want to re enlist and that she was getting out. He disagreed with her decision because he thought he couldn’t support her and his daughter on his Navy pay alone. He took her through a nasty divorce a month before her discharge date and secretly obtained custody of their daughter. She returned to her hometown with her daughter to pursue her cosmetology license. She reunites with her closets friends and starts back dating one of her boyfriends from high school. Raven prides her self on mining her own business until reality hits her all at one time. Raven life changes when she finds out two of her best friends was beaten and left for dead, her sister and stepfather is in jail, and her favorite cousin marries her best friends’ homosexual brother. Raven spends all her free time trying to fix everyone she loves drama even though her life is turmoil and she has drama of her own. About the Author

Regina Antoinette Dilbert was born in Rochester New York and raised in Savannah Georgia. After high school and trying college she joined the United States Army. She has mastered the art of Hair Braiding and owns her own shop in Fayetteville, NC. She is continuing her education online. She is a single parent and has dreams of owning an indoors playground and becoming a firefighter. She has a book of poems that was published February of 2007. It is titled I’ve Been There Too. This aspiring author has a forthcoming book titled The Drama Continues… which is in the works of being published. Regina and her daughter reside in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
