About the Author

Born in 1960, Julie Milligan did not take up writing until college. Inspired by her mother to read from an early age, she would read by the street light after everyone else was asleep. Julie has worked in retail for the past eight years. In her spare time she writes and paints with oils, but mostly she reads. She met her artist husband Allan Baker in 2004. With her poems and his art they hope this book is the first of many. They live in Arkansas.
