About the Book

Ask me to describe my new novel, The Lost Dali Series Volume Two, and I would have to say `it´s a Real Time slide show and lecture in readable book format´. Having said that, this, `A Picture Book´ is `Book One´ of six installments that not only display the novels first seventeen pages of text, but also showcase numerous original works of art that assist in the promotion of this novels Surrealistic theme. Purchase these six `Picture Books´ and you amass not only the entire dialog but you will be privy to all the art that is displayed in this exciting three hour one of a kind novel. Of course there will be a stark contrast between the novels finished product and these six `Picture Books´. The novel as the slide show in readable book format will have the art photos inserted as assigned, while our Picture Book Chapter Sampler only gives insertion directions which are distinguishable as the `in parenthesis´ text in `red ink´. Another highly viable option would be to convert this novel into a stage play. The set requirements call for an auditorium with stage and podium. Most high Schools and Universities have equipped auditoriums, so acquisition should not be a problem. Then we´d need rear screen with slide and overhead projector access. Extra so called `Bells and Whistles´ beget greater potential.I see the presentations options limited only be the imagination. You know I was just thinking, I might be getting ahead of myself here.In case a few questions remain, lets back track, so as to highlight a few of the novels particulars. It´s the turn of the new millennium. The three hour event aptly titled `The Lost Dali? Series Volume Two´ takes place at Mckinny´s auditorium on the campus of the University of Maine - south branch, Addison,Maine. I,Hank Stence as lecturer, am hosting the gathering with a handful of students and local onlookers in attendance. Our game plan is to view various works of `Salvador Dali´ signed art and discuss their authenticity probabilities. This quote from section One, which is included in this `Book One´ will better explain the intent: I say,quote... "Our lecture today is based on a series of unpublished works of art, with each sharing THREE commonalities. Number ONE, none to date have been authenticated nor do they posses provenance, and TWO, most are dated , and all are signed Dali, in one fashion or another. Oh and THREE, all art via our slide and overhead presentation today comes to you courtesy of various art collector friends of mine from around the world. As a brief specialty topic for this `Book One´, let´s turn our attention to the novels characters. Commencing with page 112 , `The Novels Chapter Sampler´ we notice all text is either regular or bold. Regular font designates my dialogue,(Hank Stence) as the narrator and host. Responses and contributions given by other characters such as Roberto, Abe, and Sara, will be in the bold font, followed by that particular persons name cast in 9 point script surrounded by parenthesis. All toll about a dozen characters make up the `slip shod´ attendees roster; with each contributing their own two cents toward a true, surreal climax. Oh as a final note, a few of my down east associates have been contemplating an audio version of the book with photo inserts. We plan posting this rendition to our website: TheDaliDome.com sometime in the near future. If you might have a question or desire an additional image or two of the book shoot an email to hstence@maineline.net and I´ll be sure to get back with you.I hope you enjoy this, the premier edition, `Book One´ of six, The lost Dali? Series,`A Picture Book´.
