A Safe Day in the Park

This is a story about a little girl named Mia who went to the park with her Dad with her dog Sparky. Mia had an adventure in the park.

About the Author

Michaela Lorraine Flipping was born in Washington, DC. She attends one of DC’s finest elementary schools. Michaela is an aspiring doctor. Michaela’s maternal grandmother – Lorraine, began to teach her to read and write at a very young age. Her kindergarten teacher Gladys Heatherington completed the task. By mid-year of kindergarten Michaela was reading well above her grade level. Also while in kindergarten she won first place in the science fair. She has been on high honor roll since she started school. Michaela enjoys reading and writing. She has written several poems and mini-stories prior to penning this book. Michaela enjoys teaching herself to play the piano, singing in the children’s choir and dancing. Michaela is the youngest of four children. She adores her sisters Shontelle (Pebbles), Danielle (Danni) and her brother Anthony (Man). Michaela has one favorite cousin who is like a second brother: Montel. Michaela plans on publishing several more books in the future.
