About the Book

This is a story of my life with and the death of my best friend. If you have ever loved one of your pets as a family member and not just a cat or dog you will totally get this. All the good and bad times we had together and our love for each other that grew every year like a balloon, only to pop into this terrible long nightmare of decisions that I felt I could not make on my own. It’s really a love story between two creatures bound to each other forever.

About the Author

My name is Melissa Faes. I am a homemaker and mother to five children. I have lived in Wisconsin my entire life. I am not an experienced writer; I just felt an absolute desire to put my feelings on paper to maybe help someone else grieve a little easier than I did. I am often asked with my love and devotion to animals why don’t I put it to good use. If I worked in a shelter I would take them all home. Therefore I think I am sure I will remain this way, with my home open and loved with all my little creatures I pick up along the way.
