About the Author

Ron Satzler was born in 11939, raised in rural Kansas, and baptized into Christ at age 13. Ron took active roles in the Church of Christ Brotherhood including part-time minister, youth leader, song leader, Bible class teacher, church treasurer, and various deacon duties. He spent two years at Oklahoma Christian University, transferred to the University of Kansas, and received a BSME. His Management career at Caterpillar lasted 38 years and required skills needed to effectively solve both social and technical problems. As persistent symptoms of problems within the Brotherhood became more obvious to Ron and many other members over the years, it was natural for Ron to apply his professional skills to finding root causes of, and effective solutions to, declining membership, apathy, lack of unity, unrest, indifference, non-involvement, divisions, etc. Ron’s focused study and effort into the content of this book spanned a period of about ten years.
