About the Author

Thom McKinney was raised by his mother, a single parent who was not open to nonsense and used strong-armed tactics to enforce her rules. Wanting to escape the “mother from purgatory,” he joined the army only to find they required the same disciplines. By utilizing the lessons learned, Thom’s journey provided a life unimaginable as an adolescent and teenager. Learning to play the game of life and winning against what many would describe as unbeatable odds gave him insights, which he uses to help others change their lives.
