About the Book

Gender Identity – so powerful, so pervasive, yet so misunderstood. And those whose bodies don't conform to inner gender identity face enormous personal struggles and daunting social challenges. I should know. I lived most of my life as a successful, popular, professional man. But I am female…undeniably female. Details of my gender journey will likely appear unique, but my emotional and spiritual struggle certainly will not. Because my story is really your story…our story. Life calls each of us to walk the path of integrity, to face the fears, obstacles and issues that stand in the way of authenticity. Don't we all long to be healthy and whole, live genuinely without inhibition, love fully and unconditionally, and truly experience the beauty, joy and wonder of our lives? "Becoming". To come into being. A verb, a doing word. A process, an energy, requiring effort and commitment. A challenge. Our purpose.

About the Author

"Jody Keller" is an educator, musician, poet and naturalist. After living, loving and learning in Arizona for over 30 years, she recently relocated to where her heart and spirit can freely soar. In addition to enjoying the gifts of an authentic life, she continues to teach, write, sing and chase rainbows.
