About the Book

The stories consist of drama, human interest, horror, and revenge. The

first story: “The Warrior” it is about a San Antonio Police Officer, who was

shot in the head in 1980 by a robber, who he was attempting to apprehend.

After being shot he went through the near death experience, strange

occurrences. While in the hospital he reminisces about his thirty year

Law Enforcement career. The second story: “La Maniqui (The Mannequin)

it is about a twenty-one year old naive Mexican-American female from

a town on the border of Mexico. Her name is Mona and she is leaving

Eagle Pass, to go to San Antonio, Texas. This is Mona’s first time leaving

home. Also it will be Mona’s first train ride.

During her train ride she makes somebody’s acquaintance that will

change her life forever. The third story: “To The End Of Time” it is about

Aliens, (Extraterrestrial) that visit


Earth millions of years ago to study the inhabitant’s. They found a

certain type of Ape, with their interference that Ape became man. They

experimented with special proteins; these special proteins jump-started

evolution.


There are many twist and turns in these stories, you will not be able to

figure it out until the end.

I am a retired San Antonio Police Officer.

I am a native Texan, married and have four

children. I enjoy writing children books,

short Stories, and poetry. I spend most of

my time working as a Substitute Teacher.


About the Author

THE AUTHOR: I am a sixty six year old male. I am a native of Texas. I am married with four children. I am retired from the San Antonio Police Department, after an exciting thirty-year career. I now spend my time, working on my small farm. I also write poetry, Children books, and short story. I spend most of my time working as a Substitute Teacher, in the local schools in my area. Of all the things I do, most of all I enjoy spending time with my family.
