About the Author
Betty Tellier was born in White Plains, New York on August 10, 1921. As a child she had a keen interest in art and color and spent a lot of time drawing, sewing, and designing clothes. She worked in New York during the 1940’s as a fashion illustrator. In 1953, Betty, her husband Bob, and their young children packed up their black Ford convertible and headed West, settling in Scottsdale Arizona where she still resides today. Over the years she continued her artistic endeavors by staying active in dress design, sewing, interior design and painting. Ever the artist and always fascinated with color, she was inspired to create this charming children’s book about the magic of color.
