About the Author

Author’s Background My father died unexpectedly, forcing me to educate myself quickly and on my own. I realized that my formal education of a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in engineering management did not make me “money wise.” My army career has led me to command 260 soldiers in combat and in garrison. I have been responsible for fifty million dollars of property at one time and have overseen multimillion dollar construction projects, but all of these experiences never taught me to be wealthy. This book highlights my experience—financial and professional successes, which cannot be taught in any one class.
