About the Author

Patrick Bethea was born and raised in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Although his parents taught the values of education and responsibility, he was exposed to a lifestyle that fascinated him and led him to the mean streets to gain fame. Today, he uses his energy to help troubled youth. As the founder of Mpact Youth Center, he guides them to strive for and accomplish positive goals through education. Having experienced many of the social ills that plague our inner cities, Patrick tells real life stories that will touch the hearts of many that are products of similar urban environments.
