About the Book

In Psalm 30:5 the Scripture reminds us: “For His anger endureth but a moment; in His favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but the joy cometh in the morning.” We began a journey like no other journey; as night is different from the day, as the sun is different from the moon this journey cannot and will not ever be compared to any other journey. The journey for truth is not easily accessed in a world of different cultures, beliefs, and denominations. We try tarot cards, we go to psychics, we have our palms read and yet we are dissatisfied. It may tell us ‘what’ but cannot tell us ‘how’! Then we encounter different religions. We read book after book; we set out on a spiritual journey to find ourselves. There is a reason we have the fascination with the super-natural. We long for something that will give us direction, tell us what lies before us. We are void and have an emptiness of heart we do not know how to fill. Truth will fill the emptiness of the heart. “My soul longeth, yea, even fainted for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.” (Psalm 84:2) For it is impossible to know the heart, it is also impossible to find that which we know nothing about. Where do we look? The heart is a complex piece of machinery. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly perverse, corrupt and severely, mortally sick! Who can know it, perceive, understand, be acquainted with his own heart and mind.” (Jeremiah 17:9, Amplified) Throughout this whole journey, the one change that will mean the most will be the greatest transformation: the transformation of our hearts because where our heart is, is what we will treasure. The truth will make us free. Learn to follow Jesus!

About the Author

My name is of no importance, I am just an ordinary person that had an inquisitive mind for answers. I wanted to understand more than I would see of words written down on pages. I wanted to understand more than I heard from any given Sunday message. I wanted to know God as a real person. I wanted Him to be real to me, I wanted to see Him. I wanted to know how to apply God in everything I do, my everyday decision making. When I would see church people interacting with each other, whether they were discussing their trials or just in fellowship with each other, their response to God was very general just quoting Scriptures. Scriptures I knew but the understanding I did not have. So I prayed one day and said to God, “If the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, then put me into Holy Ghost kindergarten and take me back to the beginning.” So, that brings us to today, to this handbook of salvation. In all thy getting get an understanding. I hope this teaching that was taught and revealed to me by the Holy Spirit will fill in the gaps for you as it did me. I found out the principles in the Bible help me to apply the Word of God to my everyday life. God’s principles are His Word! There had to be more to salvation than just telling someone they need to be saved. I wanted to know what God’s saving grace saved us from. I wanted to know how to live in a world that rejects the principles of God!
