About the Author

My name is Velma R. Nelson. I am a native of New Boston, Texas where I was born and raised. I attended New Boston Senior High, and later graduated in the year of 1982. I am the mother of three wonderful children, BJ, La Quinta and Anita. After many changes in my adult life, God moved me to Atlanta, Georgia where he chose me to preach and teach his word. I have since re-located to the DFW area where I am a member of the fabulous church, Friendship- West Baptist Church. I am currently pursuing my Bachelors degree at the University of North Texas in Dallas, Texas. I love life and I am waiting on God for that special mate that he has “Just for me”.
