About the Author

Robert Watson Robert Watson was educated at Williams College and The Johns Hopkins University, and later taught at both institutions. He attended the University of Zurich, as a Swiss-American exchange fellow, and is Professor of English Emeritus at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro after teaching there for many years.
