About the Author

Richard Stephens, raised in Southern California, attended USC, and received his bachelor’s degree. Taught mathematics and music in the Los Angeles Public School system for two years, then entered the field of Software Engineering. For forty years he worked in various cities throughout the United States, Saudi Arabia, and on Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands. Married, with five children. Retired in 1998. Now lives in the Big Sky State of Montana and dedicates his time to his favorite pastimes of writing, playing the piano, and enjoying the great outdoors.
