About the Author

Robert L. Guillaume has over thirty years professional experience in public education. He has taught for both secondary and post-secondary educational institutions. A native of Kentucky, he has lived in Indiana since 1974. Mr. Guillaume holds both BS and MS degrees. He was a Dean’s List college graduate, NCAA division I football letterman, National JayCee’s “Outstanding Young Man of America”, NASA “Teacher in Space” candidate, a national television guest on the “700 Club”. He served as an environmental education specialist for Purdue University, and in 2004 was asked by a major political party to run for U.S. Congress. He is married and the father of three children.
