About the Author
This book is the author's third venture into the soul of Jud Userle. Michael Raskin was born and raised in New Jersey, has earned his doctorate in the social sciences, and has combined his imagination with some of the insights he has gained through his studies, to examine how a simple man might survive in the complexities of modern strife. The author's work in the fields of anthropology, psychology, and teaching have piqued his interest in feeding hungry minds, and offering alternatives to the usual ways of seeing the world. His style has evolved, from the first novel, JUD.US, through his second, JUD.US,TOO, to the present. Michael Raskin has had a varied experience, and faced his own handicaps, which, possibly, have helped his hero, Jud, deal with stress. The author practices in a store-front office in Lisbon Falls, Maine, and his interests venture as far as the Moxie Festival each year. He has written in the field of psychology, and hopes that some of these thoughts will be received by those who read of Jud.
