About the Book
The work in this book references time, nature, music, spirit, relationships and literature, for a glimpse into the author’s perceptions of life. Recurring themes illustrate how thoroughly certain threads of experience cycle repeatedly through our lives. One section illustrates the way she associates individual people with motifs that become representative of their personal traits. The result is a collection of uniquely personalized word portraits. The poems in this volume, composed over many years, reveal ups and downs, darkness and light, happiness and pain. In other words, they are bits of life, universal in feeling, captured in tiny word pictures.
