Addressing Intervention Concerns
The Who Am I workbook is based on a two-interview concept used in the beginning stage of intervention with children and youth. Getting to the heart of any issue quickly is a concern of all involved in making behaviour changes. The workbook produces opportunities for parent involvement by increasing parent child communications; gives a focal point to the diversity in relationships in a child’s life experience; provides a structured strategy that helps in the rapport-building phase of the intervention and the focus worksheets were developed to illicit information and encourages an exploration from the client/student’s perspective of the presenting problem areas or issues.
