Cancer continues to be a major disease that affects millions of men, women and children every year. Many patients will experience hair loss, while receiving chemotherapy cancer treatment, which is an after effect from most chemotherapy treatment. A large number of women and children, in particular, experience a range of emotional and psychological, appearance related effects associated with baldness. There are limited resources available for bald children, and little girls usually do not prefer a wig as their preference for a head covering. For this reason, we have created a special selection of headwear for children. Styles are created with long curls, braids, twists etc., and can be adorned with barettes, hair clips and ribbons. It is, however, important for woman and children to feel comfortable with their appearance and image while battling this disease. Creating beautiful feminine hair garments for every nationality and culture of people will continue to be our mission. We will continue to provide this form of support during their time of affliction and uncertainty. Cheryl Y James is a respected woman of God, wife and mother of four. She is a dedicated member of The Greater Allen Cathedral in Queens NY, where Dr. Floyd & Elaine Flake serve as Pastor & Co-Pastor. James is currently completing a dual Bachelors & Masters in Biblical Studies & Theology at The North Carolina College of Theology. James is also the CEO & Founder of Non Profit Cancer Charity, “Where There’s A Need Inc,” an organization which provides support for women and children with cancer & hair loss.
