This book is a copilation of spiritual writings, poetry and songs. There are many that struf=ggle just to make it through the day. They constantly seek for a little ray of sunshine and hope. I, like so many women, had to fight for my survival and flee from the very presence of: Domestic Violence Drugs Alcohol Fornication Adultery Poverty and so many other fears and failures. I stood among the dead branches many days trying to find my true identity abd I still fight the demons that are yet invading my path. Written by a Sistah who has gone from being poor in spirit to being rich in POWER!

About the Author

Apostle (Dr.) Ann Nettles Jackson, aka "Annie", was born March 5, 1954 in Florence, SC. She resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband. She has two children and five grandchildren. She attributes her talents from her parents, Mrs. Bernice Nettles Sellers and the Late Mr. John Wesley Nettles. She is one of five siblings; one brother and three sisters. Apostle Jackson is the Founder/Pastor of Nehemiah Worship Center located in Charlotte, NC. She has served in ministry for over 30 years. She has graced and transformed many lives with spiritually through revelatory sound doctrine, insightful and prophetic teachings, and flows in the gifts of the Spirit. Her unique and exceptional ministry teaches laymen to be submissive and committed to Jesus Christ through the renewing and transforming of their minds by receiving God's Word. She has traveled internationally to Johannesburg, Soweto, and other places in South Africa to share with them the Word of God. Apostle Jackson walks heavily in the Apostolic and Prophetic Anointing. She graduated with degrees in Biblical Studies, Human Services and Social Work and is currently enrolled at NCCU in Durham, NC where she is pursuing a degree in Birth-Kindergarten with a concentration in Consumer and Family Relations. Her mentor is her childhood pastor, Rev. Vandroth Backus. Apostle Jackson is a Gospel Singer, Writer, Prophet, Motivational Speaker, and Evangelist. Her favorite songs are "Even Me, Lord" and "I've Learned to Live Holy". She believes education is the key to a successful life.
