About the Book
In My Mind is a collection of Mary Kling's poetry that spans four decades. Her poetry ranges from serious to light, reflective to nostalgic, reminiscent to current. Subjects include parents, childhood memories, relationships, growing older, death, nightmares, recovery from a serious accident, dogs, travel, working out, writing, wisdom, and more. Mary Kling has her own individual style, which has developed over the years. She did not date the poems in In My Mind, choosing to have each poem represent itself in a timeless way. She believes that poems are a gift to those who read them, and she looks forward to providing more in the future..
