About the Author

Harold has been a member of the Living Museum since 2002. His work conveys such angst, yet he includes title so humorous, it’s difficult to decide whether to laugh or cry when viewing his expressive art. Harold not only portrays his world visually through painting and drawing, but also creates vivid word portraits through his poetry which accompanies his artwork. “Deadbeat Losers in the Urban Wilderness” is an autobiographical portrait of his experience living on Skid Row in Los Angeles. Harold now lives and works in his own apartment in San Pedro.
