About the Book

Since the beginning of time, Birds have played a subtle yet very important role in our lives. Not only do many of them feed and nourish us, we often keep them in our homes to sing for us and to provide us with inner joy and happiness. Just think for a moment how empty the world would be without the welcome presence and beautiful songs of Birds. I wrote this book in Honor of our Fine Feathered Friends for their loving and unselfi sh giving to man. Unfortunately, to date more than 56,000 species of Birds have already become extinct due to natural disasters such as: Drought, Famine, Disease and Wildfi res and from more recent times due to the overabundant and widely unnecessary use of Deforestation, Urbanization and Deadly Pesticides. From each sale of this book a signifi cant donation will be made to the Ardastra Gardens, Zoo and Conservation Center located in Nassau, Bahamas. Ardastra is a non-profi t organization where the welltrained and compassionate staff dedicate valuable time and expertise promoting Conservation and the development of the necessary programs to ensure the survival of many endangered species of the World’s vanishing Natural Habitat’s.
