About the Book

This love story enveloped in a science fiction was born out of the author’s companionship with a geneticist on a long journey from Turkey to Australia. The story develops between two teens vacationing in Maldives. Burtch with his mother is from Turkey and Daphne with her mother from the US. Their accidental meeting on the beach develops into an attraction towards each other. While seeking adventure on the peaceful shores of the island they get involved in a fierce tug of war between two internationally reknown scientists. These geneticists are on a mission to recover the genes of an extinct creature that the Maldivians believe was the genesis of all livings. The innocent young couple first become intrigued with that research, then get caught in the competition between the two scientific teams. They end up as the test subjects of this thrilling and breathtaking scientific experiment.
