The poetry in these pages are my life and spirit They are meant to bring you hope, understanding, love and awareness to life’s tribulations and joys. They will also bring you aspects of life where there will be moments of sadness and laughter. Tears will not resist and memories will not stop coming, but love will come from my soul to yours.

About the Author

About the Author Mrs. Luzmaria Flores was born and raised in Hell’s Kitchen in New York City in 1952. Despite her many challenges, she accomplished her desire to become a registered nurse. She now has twenty years of experience in dealing with patients with HIV/AIDS. She has been working for the renowned St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York City, top Infectious Disease Outpatient Clinic. She has poems published with the International Society of Poetry and Nobel House. Poetry has become her passion to help others come together in mind, heart, and soul.
