About the Book

BOOK DESCRIPTION You are probably thinking “what is the difference between a woman and a wife?” According to the Bible there is quite a bit of difference. Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” The more of God’s Word you hear the more faith will come. Individuals have the capacity to hear audibly and visually. Visual hearing comes by reading and hearing through the ear of the Spirit. So I ask that you open your spiritual eyes and ears and allow the voice of the Spirit to speak directly to your heart once again on this subject. Especially, if you are still single and wondering why. Now, let me ask you, are you a single female who has a desire to be married, but year after year find yourself still unmarried? Well don’t feel alone, there are countless other women finding themselves in the same situation. I believe this little book holds some keys that will unlock the mystery to your dilemma. If you will sit down and allow the truths and Godly principles found in this book to minister to your heart, and put them into practice you’ll be well on your way to enjoying your singleness in route to your married life. Being single is not a plague. It is a privilege. There are just as many benefits being single as there are being married. One of the first things that I want you to do is reshape your outlook on being single. In response to the Scripture that says it is better to marry than to burn, my pastor says, “It is better to be delivered.” God can take care of the burning in your body and the over-active desire. Psalm 37:4 in the Amplified Bible says that God will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. Your desire to be married should be one of those secret petitions of your heart that you have made known to God. After you get up from that place of prayer you should simply begin preparing yourself naturally and spiritually for that grand and glorious day. It should not be an all consuming fire that overtakes you. This brings frustration because God will not grant that petition until He knows that you are ready. I desire for you to get to the point where you can honestly say, “I am truly content in my singleness and I am having the time of my life. I am enjoying where I am in the journey to where I am going.” I pray that this book has given you fresh insight as to what you need to be doing “in the mean time”. I hope that you discover your worth and determine not to be so preoccupied with having a mate that you miss out on living life to the fullest while you’re waiting. It’s time to “stop waiting to exhale.” Stop living life like a damsel in distress and start living with all the gusto you can muster. This is a wonderful time in your life; don’t let a moment of it slip through your hands by worrying about “when will he come”. When he does come, let him have to “receive you in passing".
