About the Book

Everyone wants to make a difference. Everyone wants to change the world. Not everyone gets the opportunity. When Andrea was given the once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Africa and work with children, she was excited to finally get her chance to matter. Open-minded and not knowing what to expect, Andrea lived in the town of Hohoe, Ghana for six weeks. Spending mornings working in a pre-school and weekends traveling, she soon learned that people of Africa didn’t need her. She needed them.

About the Author

Andrea Leagh Myers was raised in Bentonville, Arkansas. While attending the University of Arkansas to receive her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism Advertising and Public Relations, she maintained her passion for writing. Despite her long term habit of keeping a personal journal, she never shared her writings. A trip to Africa compelled her to disclose her thoughts and experiences. Her first published book chronicles her encounters with the exciting and wonderful world she never knew.
