I know now. It is clear. And she knew, too, which was why she surfaced. She had been gone a year. Both she and I are unsure of what to do, both of us afraid. The question is, when will the attack come?

The years I had spent dormant and inactive has given me an unusual amount of wisdom, yet despite this advantage, even I cannot predict what is to come. I can only pray and hope that I will fall into the right hands—in the hands of a young boy I know is out there. But is he ready?

About the Author

R.P.T. had been an avid reader as a child. His favorite books were fiction novels. His love for the genre led him to write many short stories on the subject. When he was 9 years old, one of these short stories slowly turned into a one-hundred page novel. As he grew older, he continued to revise the book, making the plots more intricate and the writing more sophisticated, while also developing plots for the books’ sequels. He finally ‘completed the first novel at the age of thirteen, and published it under XLIBRIS at the age of fourteen. He lives in New Jersey with his parents and older sister.
