About the Book

A young boy was stricken with Polio as a child and his parents became very watchful over him. They kept him away from the outside world, so no one would tease him of his disabilities. As the boy watched the neighborhood children play outside, he wished he was there playing with them. He proved to his parents that he wasn’t as sickly and fragile as they feared. His dreams of having friends and going outside to play became true.
