About the Book

This is the story of a grandmother for a number of children who never met her. They wanted to know something about her and being an American Black family, that is not always possible. So, I took my Mother's family starting with her Mother and wrote about the people who married into her family and where they came from along with side stories about their lives. There were eleven children born into that family and I continue the story with short vignettes about the entire family including friends and associates. The book ended in 2009 with as much information as I could garner at that time ending with last child born.
