About the Book
My name is Marcia Martin Ensley. And yes, I am a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. There it goes, I said the word, “minister”. What a mouth full, right? From a woman’s perspective, you never know how that claim to “serve” in ministry will be received. Nonetheless, this book is written by the leading of the Holy Spirit. I certainly have no personal desire to examine this issue for I know the controversy it engenders. However, the quest for truth and understanding propels me to seek and to find answers to those controversial issues (surrounding women in ministry) that tend, from time to time, to divide the body of Christ. Since I was a little girl, I heard and knew that God had called me to share His word with others. The process of preparation has been long and full of challenges and changes. However, I am learning to relax, knowing that the processes of preparation and progression will only end when it meets with the transition into eternity -- Romans 8:30.
