About the Book

“PETUNIA, The Naughty, Little Lamb” is based on a true story. It started on a bright April afternoon. A small lamb was bawling plaintively out by the garden. It had appeared out of nowhere. No one came to claim her so she stayed. She took an instant liking to the man of the house for he cared for her, giving her grain and fresh places to eat. The lady of the house did not share the same sentiments towards the lamb as the lamb did things she did not appreciate. This rhythmic picture book expresses the frustration she was to the lady of the house. It is a fun way of dealing with a sheep that is a “naughty little lamb.”

About the Author

Anna Pinette, a Canadian author of children’s books, lives in Manitoba with her husband of forty-one years. A teacher by profession, she has specialized in the primary grades and in Special Education within the Turtle River School Division. She is the grandmother of four. Her published works include: Petunia, the Naughty, Little Lamb and Elmer, The Hot Dog Loving Rooster. Her latest publication is Bubble, Bubble, Pop! - Stories for Children of All Ages. Drawing from her life experiences, Anna writes from the perspective of a person born and raised in the country. Her writings reflect the close family ties that she values.
