A Special Angel For You

About the Book

November 12, 2007 my mother, Delia Roberts was killed in a tragic car accident. A month later December 21, 2007 my father, Mervyn Roberts passed away due to major complications of the same accident (he never regained consciousness). Thanksgiving and Christmas of that year were spent planning and attending funerals. A year later my husband, Craig and I found out that we were expecting a child. The hardening truth that our child would only have one grandmother literally pierced my heart. Craig’s father, Lamar Magee passed away on May 16, 2007, 6 months prior to my mom. The amount of overwhelming support from family, friends and co-workers allowed me to see that while my parents and father-in-law were not physically with us, God saw that Special Angels would be sent to care for us. July 15, 2009 I gave birth to a beautiful Angel, Keirsten L’ora Magee. Keirsten has been a true blessing to our lives producing smiles and happiness everyday to remind me that when things seem unbearable God is able to perform miracles. Being a teacher, I come into contact with numerous children who don’t have the “traditional” home life but someone has taken the responsibility to care for them and provide them with the love and attention they need- Special Angels. It’s important to acknowledge those who are placed in our lives and that God knows what’s best for everyone.
