About the Author

Arlene Clendenin, MFA has an enduring love and appreciation of her husband’s art work. Having completed a screenplay on a day in the life of a noted artist during 1942, she committed her time and attention to writing this book in support of Bernard’s work and for the benefit of all women, present and future.

Bernard S. Clendenin (May 30, 1925 – March 30, 2013) has a national reputation as a fine artist. He has studied with William McNulty, Jon Corbino and Robert Beverly Hale at the Art Students League of New York. His paintings have been in five museums and won considerable praise for their color, passion and sensitivity. Clendenin’s fine art captures his unique perspective of the model he is painting.
