About the Book

Acknowledging God’s tender mercy opened my heart, ears, eyes to see and love, I who was taught and given the ability to improve self-esteem despite of past abandonment. Coming from a broken family; searching for love in all the wrong places at the same time dealing with a chemical imbalance, severe depression; inspiring all families to never give up on one another, to have hope and patience in a world of unbelievers; sharing encounters with friends I established and met along my short journey; seeking answers from strangers when there were no questions asked; facing personal fears; being brave; and taking chances. I express that what I’ve learned throughout my short journey here on earth is far more complex than my worries. If I put that same energy into what I gathered, the exact strength and motivation of all I had to overcome my failures should be the least of my concern. What it is that makes me afraid is nothing compared to all I had to rise above.

About the Author

Tasha Nicole Henderson was born in Gary, Indiana. She graduated as Salutatorian at her High School in 1999. She went to Ivy Tech Community College and Indiana University for a course in Occupational Therapy. She is a Boys and Girls Club member and joined the Coahoma Opportunities summer youth camp. She is a rehab center assistant at Southlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Most importantly, she is a proud parent of a Girl Scout.
