"My Father’s Blessings is a memoir about the journey of a courageous woman from depths of the holocaust to a fulfilled life. Celina Fein describes her early childhood, the horrors of the Warsaw Ghetto, her hidden identity as a maid in Germany and her life after the war. She tells of how she faced certain death by the Nazis and attributes her survival to her father’s love and blessings. Celina has worked tirelessly to keep the memory of the Holocaust alive by helping create Holocaust Museum Houston which honors the survivors and victims of the Holocaust. She has enabled students and adults to understand that the holocaust cannot be repeated and that they need to seek justice and tolerance throughout the world. Her book inspires readers to strive for a better world."
