About the Book

In my new book "And there was pain in the event of our demise" I continue to lay bare my personal recovery journey that I began in my first book. Except this book is more personal. Through a series of un-edited letters to my ex-lover, I reveal my struggle to find my way out of her bed and back into God's arms. Searching for belonging and stability in this relationship and a Christian congregation should have fulfilled me. With the exception of one major dilemma: my lover was a woman! In a blink of an eye I am faced with a choice. Either to reject my sexuality or my God. What do you do when the two things you love the most. The two things that define you- can NEVER exist together?
