About the Book

I did this book so for the children. I want to get kids out and see what mother nature has out there so I started with rocks the place we took was in AZ. The monsoons washed the rocks away , they change every year you fifi nd new shapes. My sister Marilyn Peart, took a lot of them and me so hope you all get your imagination going there and you will see a lot out there. I do all kinds of things I paint, I do portraits, I make jewelry, I woodwork, I knit. So I keep myself busy my sis get as much credit for these books after I got her to see what I see, now she can’t look at any rock hills or piles without seeing something so have fun.

About the Author

My name is Beverly Rhoades. I am a Californian gal born in the bay area and was raised there till I was 15 then moved to the mountains Placerville, married when I was 16, was married for 30 years when I lost my husband to cancer, had three kids and they were all married so after two years I moved to the Ukiah, close to the coast met a very nice guy and married again he had three children, they were also so married we were together for eight years and he passed away from cancer. So decided don’t want that again so no more marriages for me. I got into doing crafts after I retired from my beauty shop after 45 years, with limes. and then I decided to do something for children and did these books, I want to get kids out and see what mother nature has out there so I started with rocks the place we took was in AZ.
