About the Book

This book was written with the intent to remind us of the urgency in preparing for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and to enroll in personal and collective work that is at hand. We are to be prepared, be proactive, be accountable, and be productive in our labor of love for Him, to be the salt and the light of the world, to grow in Christian maturity, and to accept the challenge to move toward perfection. We are learning how to wait with expectation for Christ’s return to encourage the believer to finish well, to be found faithful until the end, and to please Him who called us. In the urgency for all believers to glorify God in this body, His church, we are to fulfill His joy, and at the last day, we shall be received up into glory. The urgency of the now is that we are challenged to reap the harvest of lost souls. The King is coming again, and He is the last revelation. We do not want to miss Him this time. We want to hear Him say “Well done” to the faithful (Matthew 25:23).

About the Author

My name is Billy Ray Reese, and I was born in Hutto, Texas, in 1955. I am married to Dollie Reese. We have two biological children and eleven adopted children. I was called into the ministry in 1987. I have served as pastor in three churches over the last twenty-five years: Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Weimer, Texas; Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Taylor, Texas; and God’s Way Christian Baptist Church, Taylor, Texas. I am the founder and organizer of the God’s Way Christian Baptist Church, where I now presently serve as a senior pastor. I have attended Southwestern Baptist Seminary, Liberty University, and Evangel Christian University. I received a doctrine degree in theology. I am a retiree of Abbott/Hospira Pharmaceutical Laboratories, Austin, Texas.
