About the Book

Danskin is a tiny fairy who lives in a spotted mushroom under a large oak tree in the forest. Each day she bakes Sugar and Spice Cookies for all the woodland animals. Danskin sets a good example to her young readers on how to be a kind neighbor and friend. Come take a peek inside her world and watch as she dances through life, spreading joy all around. Inside the book are five stories, two of Danskin’s song sheets as well as the recipe for her Sugar and Spice cookies. The pages are filled with 70 full-color illustrations!

About the Author

Since childhood, Deborah has loved to write. Her first set of poems was written in 3rd grade and she has continued writing poetry, prose and stories throughout childhood and into adulthood., Deborah and her husband, Jeff, have three adult children: Jeffery, Foster, and Juliana. The first two grandchildren are expected in the fall of 2011. Deborah and Jeff make their home in a renovated historical home just north of Nashville, Tennessee. Danskin, Tales of a Fairy is Deborah’s first book.
