Tamara McCoy was born on March 24, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois. She has worked in the financial industry for over twenty-five years, educating individuals on the importance of investing their finances and securing their future needs. Tamara also loves retail. She has held several positions in retail industry, such as being a manager for a major retail chain where she worked closely with the training and coaching of new hires. She has also worked on the neighborhood projects, reaching out to troubled teenage girls by helping train and prepare them on how to obtain their very first job. Tamara married at an early age, which later ended in divorce. She then became a single parent left to raise three children on her own. On this journey, with the help of the Lord, she had to overcome several tragedies in her life that caused her to share her life experiences to encourage and inspire others. Tamara enjoys mentoring young children. She has worked as a Sunday school teacher as well as a choir director for the youth. Tamara is committed and has dedicated her life to Jesus. She is a godly woman who lives and walks by her faith. Within her professional life, Tamara has been recognized, and she held the title of representative for the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) 2010 for Aurora, Illinois, and Who’s Who for Executives and Professionals. Tamara has a passion for writing. She has written several articles for different Internet sites. This is her very first book. She is looking forward to completing several more projects.
