About the Book
Stubborn Stanley is a book about a goat who gets taken from his home in the mountains. He ends up on a farm where he struggles to fit in. He is the only one of his kind on the farm but eventually becomes comfortable there. He busies himself by collecting “Treasures” and sampling everyone’s food. As he gets older he starts craving more freedom and when he notices the hills looming in the background he remembers where he came from. At that point all his efforts are concentrated in getting free so he can return home again.
About the Author
Larry Robinson has worked in construction for over forty years. He has worked on everything from small houses and re-models to stores such as Safeway and Albertsons. He has also worked on bigger commercial jobs like schools and hospitals. He has three wonderful daughters and two granddaughters at the time. He currently resides Roseburg, Oregon, where he is still working in construction. He loves his work almost as much as his girls and a good day is either spent with them, or on the job. He has always enjoyed working with his hands and when work is slow he writes children’s stories. His idea is to write stories for parents to read to their little ones at bedtime. He remembers how special that time was with his girls and feels that everyone should share those moments with their children. (Author is color blind.)
