About the Book

This is the autobiography not of a captain of industry or wealthy celebrity but that of an average man who instilled his family with values through his example of hard work, love and respect for others. In his 93 years of life he has always put family first and demonstrated that through his love and dedication to his family that these values have been imparted to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

About the Author

Charles J. (Chuck) Werkley was born in 1919 and has lived a long (93 yrs) life in which he and his wife Janet raised two children as well as two others he brought into his home. While has suffered losses in his life including his wife, brother and great grandson as well as a series of personal health issues he continues to live a productive life selling real estate even at his advanced age. He has instilled family values to all through his work ethic and taught by example the value of family. This book was written so those who have witnessed his love and dedication to his family and those that will never know him recognize the values he has instilled and will learn life lessons from his experiences.
