About the Book

When I was sixteen years old, I heard a Jimmy Buffet song about the Florida Keys for the fi rst time, and my destiny seemed to be set. When I fi nally found my way to the Keys, I immediately fell in love with these islands. I wrote this book using Key West as the backdrop for a romantic romp in the Keys. The Maya Indians have always intrigued me, so I traveled to Mexico many times to research their history, and I decided to intertwine a story with the Keys and Maya together; thus this book was born.

About the Author

Growing in a small town in Georgia, I always dreamed of seeing things in different places, so as my life has progressed, I have somehow found a way to see and experience many adventures. I have traveled four continents and enjoyed many beautiful moments in this world. Life is a gift, and I always tell everyone to never take a second for granted because it can all end in the blink of an eye. I have met many wonderful people traveling throughout America, Europe, Africa, and South America, and I enjoyed every moment, good or bad.
